BAC Water

Bacteriostatic Water (BAC, 0.9% Benzyl Alcohol) is a laboratory-grade aqueous diluent formulated for bench-scale method development and solvent-system studies. Use it to evaluate:

• Peptide/protein reconstitution parameters (solvent effects, concentration ranges, vial/stopper interactions)
• Stability profiles and preservative impact (benzyl alcohol–mediated bioburden control vs. control water)
• Analytical method development (HPLC/LC–MS compatibility checks, baseline behavior, recovery, carryover)
• Storage/handling variables (freeze–thaw tolerance, light/temperature exposure, container-closure integrity)

Composition: USP-grade water for injection + 0.9% (v/v) benzyl alcohol as a preservative.
